for families who are either at risk of their children being
apprehended or have had their children removed by a child
protection agency. Canim Lake Band is a member of the Knucwentwecw
Society Northern Shuswap Child & Family Services, delegated
agency.

- Establish all social support programs under one department
- Develop evaluation criteria for all social services' programs to
allow for the continuous improvement of programs
- Increase support programs to reduce the number of children in care
- Reduce poverty and reliance on income assistance
