Under
the direction of Chief & Council, the Canim Lake Band operates over 100
various programs through: education, training, administration, capital,
operation & maintenance, treaty & self-government, forestry,
capital, health, social development, lands & membership, wellness
program, finance, and housing.
The
Canim Lake Band is unique within the local native community where we have
developed our own laws governing the election of band council. Presently,
we have five council members consisting of the Chief, Michael G. Archie,
and 4 councillors; George Archie, Donald Dixon, Gabriel Christopher and Edward
Dixon.
