Under the direction of Chief & Council the Canim Lake Band operates
over 100 various programs through: education, training, administration,
capital, operation & maintenance, treaty & self-government,
forestry, capital, health, social development, lands & membership,
wellness program, finance, and housing.
The
Canim Lake Band is unique within the local native community where
we have developed our own laws governing the election of band council.
Presently, we have five council members consisting of the Chief,
Michael G. Archie, and 4 councillors; Jesse Archie, Elsie Archie,
Roy Christopher and Edward Dixon. |
